Rodrigo Roa Duterte's 50 First Days

The Story

THE PRESIDENTIAL Communications Office (PCO) has launched the '50FirstDays campaign to highlight the achievements, and milestones of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's administration since his assumption to office on June 30.

This will be the first time that an incumbent President will showcase his achievements even with only two months coming into the presidency.

The current administration challenges the status quo of the usual 100-day milestone. Confident that even at an early stage, there has been effective changes in the government while calling everyone to be a partner for change.

Change is happening everyday. Everyday is a new day for a new Philippines.

Through the #50FirstDays campaign, this is a call to action for every Filipino to help the government implement more reforms and have hope that good things are coming for our country.

Every one is a partner for change.

Quotes

No leader, however strong, can succeed at anything of national importance or significance unless he has the support and cooperation of the people he is tasked to lead and sworn to serve.

But the change, if it is to be permanent and significant, must start with us and in us.

At this point, there are concerns few I wish to convey to all to the end that as I perorate on facts, figures, plans, programs, and solutions, these concerns will not dissipate or get lost along our way.

There can never be real, tangible and felt development without making our people feel secure and it is our duty to uplift the people’s welfare.

We will strive to have a permanent and lasting peace before my term ends. That is my goal, that is my dream

If we cannot, as yet, love one another, then in God’s name, let us not hate each other too much
