Malacanang appealed to all candidates who participated in the May 13 midterm elections to help the Metro Manila Development Authority in cleaning up all campaign paraphernalia that still litter the country’s streets.
Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte issued the appeal in a press briefing aired over government-run radio station dzRB Radyo ng Bayan on Sunday.
She said it was the candidates’ duty to show the true meaning of public service by joining hands with the MMDA and clear all campaign paraphernalia.
